Aomori Prefecture and its magnificent nature

Oirase-keiryū gorge

Oirase River flows from Lake Towada. Oirase Gorge is a stream that continues for about 14 km from Nenokuchi on the shores of Lake Towada to Mt. Yakeyama, carving through rocks and trees to form waterfalls and clear streams. It has been designated and protected by the government as a special place of scenic beauty and a natural monument, and there are many attractions such as waterfalls, clear streams, and rocks.

At the Oirase Stream in Towada City, you can relax while being surrounded by the chirping of birds, the sounds of insects, and the scent of greenery.

Hakkouda

Hakkoda, located on the north side of Lake Towada, is a refreshing mountainous area.

About Hakkoda/Towada Gourd Line

National Route 103, which connects Aomori City and Lake Towada, is commonly known as the “Gourd Line.”

You can enjoy magnificent nature such as the Hakkoda Federation, the refreshing Oirase Stream with its dynamic water flow, and the mysterious beauty of Lake Towada. The expression of nature in each season cannot be expressed in words. A course full of charm. I’d like to visit it sometime.
