Today we are going to show you the beautiful part of Western Japan – Ishikawa prefecture!
Ishikawa is a charming place with its rich history, art and natural landscapes. It is a perfect place for those who want to learn more about traditional, old Japan and immerse themselves in its history.
In spring, it is worth visiting Kenrokuen Garden to admire the sakura. It is also worth visiting the Seihakusai Dekayama Festival on the Noto Peninsula.
In summer, to escape the heat, you can go hiking in the city of Hakusan or enjoy the sea breeze on the Noto Peninsula. And in June, Kanazawa hosts the colorful Hyakumangoku Festival, which lasts three days.
In autumn, you can admire the autumn colors everywhere in the prefecture, and Kenrokuen Garden and Kakusenkei Gorge are especially beautiful at this time.
In winter, the whole of Ishikawa is wrapped in snow. It is the perfect time to enjoy winter delicacies, such as sake or snow crab. Another great entertainment is visiting the rice terraces, which are complemented by colorful exhibits.
